How to use YUM
YUM is a non-transferable and illiquid asset. However, it can be utilized through the allocations to plugins, and in the future, it may be used in contracts that are pre-approved (whitelisted), offering more possibilities for use.
Allocations
Holders of YUM have the flexibility to allocate their YUM to any plugin of their choice to benefit from its features. When YUM is allocated, it is deposited into the token contract, and during this period, it cannot be used for other purposes.
Deallocating YUM involves withdrawing the allocated amount back into the ownerβs wallet.
There is a nominal fee of 0.5% charged for this withdrawal process.
Transfer
By default, YUM cannot be transferred, with the exception of transactions involving whitelisted addresses. This restriction is in place to ensure that essential functions, such as allocations and token contract redemptions, as well as additional uses like partnerships with specific implementations, are still feasible.
